Happy 4th of July! We can not remember when we spent a quiet 4th with just the two of us. In fact, I don't think we ever have. Captain changed the oil today and I cleaned the inside. Dusting, sweeping and laundry still need to be done. We decided to just stay in the marina and not venture out to any fireworks. Instead, we had left overs from last nights dinner, watched a movie and enjoyed the quiet of the marina. Gator was around today but off in the distance. He can stay there as far as I am concerned. The people here are wonderful. That go old southern hospitality just keeps going and going. Although if I hear another yes mame or yes sir, I think I might scream. Everyone says it to every one no matter how young or old. Met a guy today that came here to make repairs on his sail boat before he headed to the islands and he is still here three years later. This picture is of some trees along the ICW as we headed here. The ICW is more like as river now and so much better. There are still plenty of dolphins around. We enjoy watching them.
