Once upon a time, there was an Iroquois Indian that saw a hole in the river that looked like a "boiling pot". Hence, the name Canajoharie. We got the bikes out and rode around town and found the creek that this story comes from. As you can see, it does look find of like a pot in the water. It is a very deep hole, perfectly round and clear. The creek is very clear and runs fast. We walked down to this spot over all the flat rock. We rode over the bridge and took this picture of our boat. That is Moonshadow in front of us. We are at a little park and you can see the Beech Nut factory in the back ground. Bad weather is heading our way. T.S. Nicole is going to give us some rain. Looks like quite a bit so we are staying put here until the weather gets better on Friday.
