We are still here on the wall at lock 16. Hoping for the waters to be better tomorrow. The weather was sunny and cool. Expecting 38 low tonight. They still have not lifted the flood gate on west of here. Moonshadow took a walk today and said the waters east are moving fast. They doubt that they will be allowed to travel east for a few days yet. Since I posted extra pics today of this area, thought I'd back up a little to the Hudson. These are pics of the Catskill Mountains. Really pretty sight. We took our bikes a little spin today (about 2-3 miles) and found nothing. Really! We took the bike route near the waters edge and I thought we might find a town but ...nope.
We are really out in the middle of no where. Glad I always keep extra food on board. So far, we have had three nights meals on board. Still have enough for about three more if need be. Lets hope not.
