Had trouble changing fuel filters so we got a late start (7:15 a.m.). We still have garbage floating up from the tanks and clogging the filters. Hopefully, we will soon have this problem behind us.
We exited the ICW at the Masonboro Inlet and rode the seas for about 85 miles/7hours
to Cape Lookout/Morehead City. Captain Mike says it seafood time! Arrived at 3:00 and ate at the Sanitary Fish Market & Restaurant- est 1937 - Moreheads oldest. Too early to stop so we went another 10 miles to mm 194.2 to Seagate Marina. Air conditioning felt mighty good after last night. Not much air moving. Washed saltwater off boat and fueled up. Time for lights out so we can get an early start.
