Bufford at 8:30 and headed to Charleston, S.C. Take a good long look at the house in the back ground. This shows a good example of how much marsh land there is here. The pier runs all the way back to the house. It is all marsh from the blue water almost to the house. All of the properties are like this. You need a golf cart to get to your boat. Today was clear sailing. We arrived in Charleston at 4:30 and stayed at
Charleston Maritime Center. There was an Ocean Alexander traveling with us and he was in the same marina as us for the night so he invited us over to see his yacht. It was a 2010, 50' for $1,650,000.00. He was the captain of it and was taking it to a dealer somewhere up north. Three frigs and freezers on board. Really nice but not what I would want. Jeff's brother Jay and his wife are here visiting her brother so we will get with them tomorrow to go sightseeing. Guess what happened tonight.....yep, another storm. We are setting near the
Limeway bridge. the largest cable bridge in North America
and the bolts of lightening are right behind it. An
awesome sight.
