August 12, 2010 Thursday

View of the harbor from the Baltimore World Trade Center. Today was Heather's last day so she and I went to an imagination museum. They had a lot of different art pieces that were done by non famous artist. They were very interesting. Captain took his tour of the ships. At noon I got a call and he asked me if we heard the canon go off. He said he fired it. Later we learned that he helped move it in place so it could be fired. So I guess if you are a captain, that's all it takes. We found a little shopping center and killed a little time until the Captain got done. Had an early supper at Phillips and then walked Heather down to the light rail to get to the airport. She called us a little later to let us know she was heading back to the boat because she couldn't get on any of the flights. She flies stand-by thanks to a friend of hers. Saves money. So I walked down to meet her. I was glad to have her back because then I had a reason to walk down to Ben and Jerry's to get ice cream.
